Group Projects Aims & Objectives.

1. What is the rationale and aim of the project?

Our main reason for choosing this topic is because in Malaysia, our public transportation is not up to standard. Most of the citizens in Malaysia don't take of the public transportation, as they have cars, some have a average of 2 cars per family. So, looking at this fact, there are quite a number of cars which means there is a high number of carbon dioxide emissions.

2. What are your planned activities?

The first would be, research and evaluate renewable energy cars. Research what other countries are doing, involving renewable energy cars and has a good public transport system, for instance Hong Kong, Singapore, England and many more. With all these information, we are going to make a documentary, a brochure and a poster about cars with renewable energy.

3. What is your proposed time framework? (Gantt Chart, etc)

Our proposed timeframe should be until April. We are considering to use Gantt Charts to organize our work and to predict what we have to get done before we start on something else.

4. What are the roles and responsibilities of the group members?

Hasmah Charles : Filming and editing of the documentary.

Jasmin Zainal : Sectary. Involved in writing, etc.

Bryan Chung : Involved in researching (car related information/public transportations)

Jake Mok : Co-editing the documentary.

Simran Sandhu : Will be helping Bryan Chung and anyone who needs the help.

5. What will your outcome be?

Our main outcome will be to spread awareness. We will be achieving this by making a documentary, a brochure, and a poster. In the documentary, we would also be putting in information about the future scenarios that would happen if sustainable transportation isn't taken seriously.
